A year ago I resigned from a job I loved, working at my church as Youth Minister.  I was already going through a lot of transitions in life and that decision threw me into another new set of transitions.  During the last year, several people suggested I start a blog.  It has taken me this long to decide that a blog is a good idea, even if no one ever reads it.  I like the idea of writing down my thoughts and feelings and find it helps me to understand exactly what those thoughts and feelings are.  Many of my friends that used to listen to me verbalize these things are no longer as available, so I will utilize this venue as an alternative to speaking to them in person.
